Clinchfield Railroad Maps
On a map, the routing of the Clinchfield Railroad looked easy, connecting the Central West to the Southeast. But from a car or plane, it’s easy to see that much work and investment was needed to accomplish that direct connection through the rugged Appalachian mountain region.
